Bali Cycling Tour Plan
1. Start From Egobike’s Office
Choose time of your tour bike, whether it’s morning or afternoon. we will be ready to pick you up in Ubud Area. Our office is located at Bisma Street and we start riding from here.
The electric fat-wheel bike (E-bike) and helmet are ready at our office. This bike is fit for riders who have height of 150 cm to 200 cm and maximum weight of 120 kg.
It has a maximum speed of 30 kilometers and can reach 40 kilometers on Eco mode.
You can choose options to cycle as fast or slow as you would like. The speed can be controlled at your thumb.
2. Visit Hindu Temple
On the Cycling Tour Ubud, we will go through Hindu temple, a place where the local people worship.
If you happen to tour on certain days such as full moon or other Balinese holy days, then you may see the local people who carry traditional offerings (called “Banten” in Balinese) to the temple.
The offerings usually consist of woven coconut leaves and various of fruits and flower. It arranged aesthetically and symbolizes gratitude to God.
3. See Beautiful Scenery at Street of Love
Next, we will go through street of love, also known as Jalan Cinta. Along the way, it’s surrounded with beautiful scenery of rice fields and wonderful view of Batukaru Mount from a distance.
You can see the local farmers who work in their fields. Most of them usually wear a typical woven hat and still use traditional equipment in rice farming.
4. Enjoy Calming Atmosphere of Tegalalang Village
In north of Ubud Center, there is a traditional village with a still calming atmosphere. It’s called Tegalalang Village.
We will explore the village and see the daily life activities of local people, a very unforgettable experience that you can get on Ebike Ubud.
5. Ceking Rice Terrace
In Bikes Bali Tour, we will also go through Ceking Rice Terrace, one of the best rice terraces in Bali beside Jatiluwih. The expanse of rice fields is unique in terraced shape and looks like great steps from a distance.
The terrace shape is designed to channel water from the highest field to the lower ones. It is one part of Subak Irrigation System in Bali.
6. Visit Coffee Plantation
For more memorable experience, we will take you to a coffee plantation and taste a cup of special coffee and tea.
One of the famous coffees is available here, named Luwak Coffee or Civet Coffee. The coffee is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and then excreted by civets. It offers a unique taste.
7. Lunch With Balinese Authentic Food
And the last of Ebike Tour Bali, we will have lunch with Balinese authentic foods which are made from various traditional spices. Something that perhaps can only be tasted in Bali.
